About Noah
I was a competitive swimmer in college. After graduating, I pursued a master's degree in physiology and biotechnology while volunteering as an EMT with my local city/county. I then worked at a biotechnology start-up company developing bacteriophage therapies to treat chronic UTI's and respiratory infections that become resistant to antibiotics. After ~3 years, I decided to return to school and pursue my PhD in immunology. My research now focuses on developing effective vaccines for immunocompromised and elderly individuals. In my free time I like to cook, bike, read and occasionally still swim outside when the weather is nice.

I help students identify their strengths and weaknesses within a subject area and develop a plan to address these areas for improvement. Furthermore, I will work with students to identify key concepts that are foundational to the subject matter and actively work to connect their related knowledge to the new subject.
Furthermore, as a researcher I work with tools such as AI and language learning models on a daily basis. I teach students how to appropriately utilize these tools for the resources they offer and identify situations when alternative approaches for learning new material are optimal.
