About Amara
Hello everyone!
I am Amara, I am currently a doctoral student at the University of Texas at Austin. I am majoring in literature. Literature and languages have always fascinated me, and in the process of teaching I aim to inculcate this fascination and interest in all my students, and in the process learn incredible things from them! I have experience teaching and have been taking classes on topics like Sufism ( an integral part of Urdu imaginative universe) for a year now, and I have enjoyed it thoroughly! I hope to see some of you in the online classroom super soon!

I am Amara, I am currently pursuing my PhD at the University of Texas at Austin where I am working on a comparative study of Urdu and Kashmiri literature. My masters is from the University of Cambridge, where I wrote my dissertation on Ghalib and Faiz, two of the brightest stars of the Urdu galaxy.I have completed by undergraduate degree in St. Stephens' College, and where I majored in Urdu, along with English.
I aim at a personalised learning technique for each of my students, depending upon their level and their interests.
They typical length of a lesson would be anywhere close to 50 minutes.
My lessons do not have any prerequisites. I aim to work with all levels of learners at all ages
