About Carmen
I am a friendly and approachable tutor, undertaking a PhD in medicine, with several years of experience. I have completed a Masters of Research in Medical Genetics (Distinction) and a BSc Hons in Biomedical Sciences (1st class). I enjoy helping students with topics they struggle with and helping them achieve their full potential.

I have several years teaching experience and I am an accredited associate teaching fellow. Having obtained a Masters of Research in Medical Genetics (Distinction) and a first class degree in Biomedical Sciences (BSc Hons.), I am currently doing a PhD in medicine. I mainly teach GCSE Sciences (Triple/Combined) and A-level Biology but can also teach students doing BSc on courses such as Biomedical Sciences and Applied Medical Sciences. I am a very friendly and approachable individual who will tailor lessons around the needs of students to accommodate several learning styles. My sessions are typically 1h long, however, this can be extended if it is beneficial for the student.
