About Amy
I’ve grown up working in teaching roles (my first job at 16 was a roller skating instructor) and now I’ve been teaching undergraduates in Biochemistry, Neuroscience and Biology for the last couple of years in seminars and labs - I love talking science but especially when it can be made accessible (I struggled a lot initially in uni because I felt like I didn’t grasp the basics first).

Before our first session, I will ask a little bit about your aims for the session and any difficulties (i.e. tackling calculations, essay questions) and goals like university applications/predicted grades. I will then tailor the lesson plans to suit these - I am a visual and kinaesthetic learner, and a big fan of mind maps for any note-taking/big concept so expect to see these and past paper questions used a lot!
