About Pedro
I have previously taught as a teaching assistant at the University of Chicago for 3 years, teaching primarily biology classes for non-biology majors. I then worked as a tutor in NYC for two years where I tutored middle school to college students on a variety of subjects including math, biology, physics, and chemistry. I also designed and taught a course in neurobiology for high school students at the Rockefeller University.

I love teaching, and I love ensuring that students are able to understand a subject enough to construct their own questions. I approach tutoring as way to teach students how to think within a subject that they might not be familiar with, and in order to do that, I ensure students have a strong fundamental knowledge of the subject, and can always think critically within the scope of that subject.
