About Selen
I’m a PhD student at UCL with a strong academic foundation in maths and science, holding two First-Class degrees. I’ve worked with students at various levels and love helping younger learners feel more confident in maths. My goal is to provide clear explanations, patient guidance, and to help students develop problem-solving skills that go beyond the classroom. I understand that everyone learns differently, and I really enjoy finding the best approach for each student.

My online maths lessons are tailored to suit each student’s pace and learning style. I offer support from primary school up to GCSE level, focusing on building confidence and strengthening core concepts. Sessions are typically 1–2 hours and can include exam preparation, topic revision, or help with homework and problem-solving. With a strong academic background in science and years of experience explaining complex ideas clearly, I aim to make maths more approachable and even enjoyable for students of all abilities.
