About Woodley
I hold advanced degrees in Philosophy of Cognitive Science (University of Edinburgh) and Bioethics (New York University), with a focus on philosophy of mind, consciousness, cognitive science, and ethics. At the heart of my teaching is the belief that philosophy is not just an academic subject but a way of life—an inquiry into what is real, meaningful, and possible. My approach is student-centered and participatory: I encourage open discussion, Socratic questioning, and the practice of linking ideas to lived experience. I strive to create a space that is intellectually rigorous yet spiritually alive, where students feel energized to explore the big questions of self, reality, and ethics. I offer tutoring in philosophy, critical thinking, and essay writing, from introductory to advanced levels. My studies have focused on philosophy of mind, consciousness, cognitive science, and ethics, allowing me to guide students through both classical debates and contemporary issues.
