About Tom
I like to base my classes on individual needs, assessing the ability and understanding the goals of the student. The content tends to surround current and cultural events to promote the learning of functional English. The lessons aim to create a comfortable environment in which you can practice freely and improve your confindence allowing me to identify areas which need improving. The structure of lessons leads to a focus on vocabulary, pronunciation, and grammar.

Hello, my name is Tom! I am a native English speaker living in London, England. I am a certified TEFL teacher and I studied English Literature at college for two years (A* grade at A-Level).
I completed the extended 150 hour TEFL qualification in 2019 and have been tutoring regularly since. I am an experienced language learner, so am familiar with current teaching techniques and the different approaches to learning. I have experience teaching both adults and children in the past and am able to cater to their different learning styles.
Regardless of your age, I am very patient and interested in your personal learning goals. I am not just motivated by money, rather it is my privilege to help you to improve and keep progressing at the right pace for you. I am very flexible and will work hard to help you achieve your goals!
