About Hashir
Hi, I'm Hashir and I'm about to start my undergraduate degree in Philosophy at UCL (University College London). I received 5/5 offers from top UK and global universities including the University of Cambridge.
I achieved 3A*s at A Levels. However, my academic journey has been full of obstacles and medical barriers whereby I had constantly questioned my future and ambitions. Nonetheless, I navigated my academics with commitment and the ability to shape my responses to the difficulties I faced.
As I embark on this new chapter of my life at university, I believe there is no better time to step into tutoring. Having recently navigated the intense pressures of GCSEs and A Levels successfully, my ultimate goal is to guide the next generation of students towards that same academic success.
For me, tutoring is about driving real social impact. I want to pass on the advanced knowledge, critical thinking skills, and academic frameworks that allowed me to excel.
Every student has vastly superior dreams and long-term objectives, but achieving them requires a highly strategic, organised academic workflow—something classrooms rarely have the time to teach individually.
I want to bridge the gap between confusion and complete clarity. I know exactly what it feels like to sit in front of a daunting essay prompt or a complex theory and not know where to start. By acting as both a relatable mentor and a strategic coach, I want to give my students the exact tools, confidence, and structural roadmap they need to unlock their full potential and secure top grades.

What to Expect in Our Lessons:
My tutoring is for UK GCSE and A Level students.
My approach to tutoring is entirely results-driven, highly interactive, and tailored to the exact requirements of your exam board (AQA, Edexcel, OCR). Because I sat these exams recently, I know exactly what examiners want to see, and I don't waste time on irrelevant textbook fluff.
Every 60-minute lesson is structured to maximise your progress:
- First 10 Mins: High-yield active recall quiz on past content to lock it into your long-term memory.
- Next 35 Mins: Breaking down complex topics (e.g., historical sources/analysis, philosophical theories, or business concepts) into simple, clear concepts ready for exam use.
- Final 15 Mins: Live essay planning or past-paper practice where we actively write out responses using examiner mark schemes. I will teach you where students lose marks and gain marks.
