He exercises the quintessential qualities of excellence in leadership and teaching. A true asset to any group.Dan is an excellent writing professor. He is very engaging with his students, and goes out of his way to help his students. I had a very serious situation in my life that happened while I was in his class. He was not only very understanding, but also very empathetic. He made sure that I had the time that I needed to finish my assignments. He is not only just a great instructor, but a mentor as well. He is very positive, trustworthy and truly cares about his students. I feel like anyone who would have Dan as a writing instructor or tutor would be fortunate. He taught me alot not only about writing but life as well.
Dan is an amazing professor! I was a student in one of his English courses and the patience he demonstrated while teaching complex subject matter was amazing. He is wonderful with providing feedback and helping students improve as readers, writers, and thinkers. Thanks to professor Dan's encouragement and grace I have been able to successfully complete other courses and significantly raise the level of my writing skills.
I worked with Dan as my professor for the final thesis course of my graduate program, where I completed a memoir thesis. He was supportive and encouraging, and it was clear how much he genuinely cared about both my work and my growth as a writer.
Dan is passionate about teaching and writing, and that comes through in how he works with students. His honest, straightforward feedback helped me strengthen my writing without ever losing my voice. During a process that was deeply personal and sometimes challenging, his guidance made a real difference for me.
I would happily recommend Dan to anyone looking for thoughtful, experienced support in memoir or advanced writing.I had the pleasure of taking classes with Dan during my master's program in English, Creative Writing - Fiction. He is a kind, honest, and encouraging instructor who inspires students to explore various writing styles and expand their creative horizons.
One memorable experience I had with Dan was his invaluable guidance on my capstone project, which ultimately became my debut book of short stories published in 2025. His mentorship was instrumental in shaping my ideas into a published work, and I acknowledge him in the book as a token of gratitude for his inspiration.
I highly recommend Dan to any Superprof members seeking a dedicated tutor for essay writing or creative development. His genuine feedback will bring out the writer in you and help you achieve your best work.I highly recommend Professor Dan Gleason as a writing tutor. He demonstrates exceptional insight into writing at all levels and is consistently available to answer questions and provide thoughtful, constructive feedback.
Professor Dan is one of the best professors that I have ever had. I have had two courses with him: ENG110H - College Writing Honors and ENG311 - Creative Writing. He is engaging and responds equally to every student. One of my favorite aspects of taking a course taught by Professor Dan is his weekly breakdown of the assignments on the announcement board every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, throughout the term. I wish every professor did this. I highly recommend Professor Dan to other Super Professors.
Dan Gleason is a highly motivating and well experienced professor of English and Creative Writing. I have stayed in touch with him since one of my beginning classes in Graduate School at SNHU. His work with Kurt Vonnegut is impressive as well as his new book release, "Life Without". Dan is very creative and is serious about his work.
I easily recommend Dan for a Superprof, and everyone who has a opportunity to get to know him better, is fortunate to receive his assistance.
I had Professor Daniel Gleason for Eng 110_47. I would highly recommend him because he encourages you to do your best. I recommend him as an essay writer on superprof he helps you when you need it. When you don't understand something, he will help you. I believe if it hadn't been for Professor Dan I wouldn't have made it through English because isn't my strong subject. He takes the time to read your work and gives you feedback on your paper. You can learn a lot from Professor Dan he is excellent and he is highly recommended by me. I think everyone will learn a lot from him.
I’m happy to recommend my instructor from SNHU as an essay writing tutor on superprof. He is an exceptional instructor who genuinely pays attention to detail and takes the time to engage deeply with the work in front of him. His feedback is thoughtful, specific, and always grounded in clear, solid examples that show *how* to improve rather than simply pointing out what needs fixing. Throughout my thesis process, his critiques never diminished my voice, only strengthened it. By identifying areas that could be sharper, more cohesive, or more effective, and by providing concrete examples of revision strategies, he helped elevate my work at every stage. His depth of knowledge is evident in both his instruction and his feedback, and his guidance consistently pushed my writing to a higher level. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking a knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely supportive essay writing tutor.
I have had Dan as a professor twice at Southern New Hampshire University, and he has been a wonderful writing mentor the entire time I've known him. He pushes you to be your best self and the best writer you can be. In a fiction writing course, he would provide specific feedback on what's working (dialogue, pacing, narration, etc.) in my story and what could be strengthened further, along with specific examples on how to make adjustments. He also provided us with weekly writing tips in the form of announcements, where he would encourage us as a class, always including small anecdotes from his own journey as a published writer. At the beginning of my second course with him, he reached out to me directly via email, telling me that he was happy to see me back in another course of his and that he was looking forward to working with me again, proving not only his dedication to the craft but to instruction and mentoring as well. You won't be disappointed with Dan as a writing tutor- I know I have yet to be as one of his students.
