I'm 25, I left the Ecole Normale Supérieure 1 years ago. I managed the external aggregation of physics and chemistry there 2 years (ranked 12th out of 75 admitted). I give private lessons for 6 years now. I am questioning the preparatory class (sup and spec) for 4 years (1 year in high school Jean-Baptiste Say in Paris, and 3 years in high school Joffre in Montpellier). I teach at the University of Montpellier for 1 year. My courses are: - high school students (preparation tray, second and first aid) - students of CPGE (1st or 2nd year) wishing to integrate a large school. - To university students (L1, L2, L3) Before 1st course: A discussion with the parents and the student establishes objectives, to discuss the organization of courses, and take note of the latest school results. I believe that regular contact with parents is important for the success of the student. basic workflow of a course: - Following a discussion with the student, deciding the topic of the course. - In collaboration with the student, I set out the main points of the course. This will lighten excluding the student points. - I help students do exercises or annals, this equates to that course concepts and learn to write effectively. - At the end of the course I remember the essential point that we saw. Specificity: - I accompany the student to ensure regular and effective work from him: this is the basis of success. - I am very patient, I am aware of the difficulty of certain concepts and does not hesitate to re-explain several times and with different ways. - I motivate the student, making him gain confidence in him, and making him aware of his abilities. - I make analogies or draws examples from life everyday to understand concepts. - I can provide guidance for the orientation of the student in terms of its results and objectives. - I'm very available: I can answer by email or telephone to guide the student in a year on which it hangs.
