About Nic
I am a training physicist who is broadly interested in many areas of physics but I specialise in quantum information science. I have just finished my Master's at The University of Cambridge in the UK and will be pursuing a PhD in 2025.

My approach to tutoring is to prioritise understanding of concepts and sparking curiosity. My priority is not to maximise exam scores. If you enjoy learning the topic then it is much easier to put in the work required to do well on a test. On top of this, if you understand the concept (and you haven't simply memorised the formulas) you will be in a good position to build on your knowledge in the future.
I have just finished my master's degree in theoretical physics at The University of Cambridge in the UK and I am taking a 6 month break from my own education before starting my PhD in 2025.
I have 2 years of experience privately tutoring high school physics and mathematics. I also have 2 years of experience tutoring physics and mathematics for the University of Queensland.
Appointments are generally between 3 pm and 6 pm weekdays. Generally, they are 1 to 2 hours. I will be tutoring at UQ from 1pm - 6pm on Tuesdays this semesters so Tuesday afternoons are not possible.
