About Brooke
My passion for physics began with curiosity about how the universe works—from motion and energy to light and fundamental forces. I hold a B.Sc in Physics and an M.Sc in Applied Physics, giving me both theoretical and practical foundations. Over 11 years, I have helped learners of varying abilities develop conceptual understanding, analytical reasoning, and confidence in approaching physics problems.
I teach with clarity, patience, and adaptability, using demonstrations, step-by-step explanations, interactive exercises, and hands-on experiments. Many learners initially find concepts like electromagnetism or thermodynamics challenging, so I emphasize guided practice, repeated reinforcement, and iterative problem-solving. Lessons are tailored to each learner’s knowledge, pace, and goals.
Outside teaching, I stay engaged with physics research, scientific developments, and experimental exploration, enriching lessons with real-world context. Watching students progress from uncertainty to mastery, gaining analytical skills and self-confidence, is incredibly rewarding. My aim is to cultivate a lifelong curiosity and deep understanding of physics in every student I teach.

Physics becomes exciting when learners connect abstract principles to the world they experience every day. My lessons cover mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, waves, optics, modern physics, and conceptual reasoning. I focus on building deep understanding rather than rote memorization, using visualizations, real-world examples, hands-on demonstrations, and thought experiments to bring concepts alive. Each session encourages curiosity, active engagement, and independent exploration of physical phenomena.
Beginners are guided patiently through foundational principles, simple problem-solving, and interactive demonstrations. Intermediate learners tackle multi-step calculations, lab experiments, derivations, and analytical reasoning. Advanced learners explore modern physics topics, complex problem-solving strategies, research interpretation, and real-world applications. Lessons are tailored to each student’s level, combining structured explanations, guided practice, and feedback to ensure mastery and confidence.
Physics lessons also cultivate analytical thinking, precision, and problem-solving skills that extend beyond the classroom.
