About Callie
My interest in physics emerged from a fascination with how the world works—from motion, energy, and forces to the vast phenomena of the cosmos. I pursued a B.Sc in Physics and an M.Sc in Astrophysics to build both theoretical and practical expertise. Over the past 10 years, I have guided students across various skill levels, translating complex concepts into approachable lessons that emphasize understanding, reasoning, and curiosity.
I employ a teaching style that is clear, engaging, and adaptable, using diagrams, experiments, interactive discussions, and practical examples to ensure deep comprehension. Students are encouraged to ask questions, explore multiple approaches, and apply concepts in real-world scenarios. Personalized guidance is central to my approach, allowing learners to progress confidently while developing independent problem-solving abilities.
Outside teaching, I stay engaged with research, emerging discoveries, and practical experiments, integrating new knowledge into lessons for contemporary relevance. Watching students gain confidence, mastery, and curiosity in physics is deeply fulfilling. Physics is the study of the natural laws that govern the universe, and my lessons aim to make these principles accessible, intuitive, and inspiring. I focus on classical mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, waves, and introductory quantum concepts, combining conceptual explanations with practical demonstrations, thought experiments, and problem-solving exercises. Students learn to visualize forces, energy transfer, and particle behavior while developing logical reasoning and analytical skills. Each lesson emphasizes curiosity, experimentation, and real-world applications, allowing learners to see the relevance of physics in their everyday surroundings and the broader universe.
Lesson plans are tailored to each student’s skill level. Beginners are guided through fundamental concepts with visual explanations, simple experiments, and stepwise problem-solving.
