About Dax
Welcome! I am a physics educator with 14 years of teaching experience and an MSc in Physics. My passion is making complex topics, especially particle physics, simple and engaging for students. I focus on clear conceptual explanations that build a strong foundation.

My teaching approach focuses on making physics clear, practical, and directly applicable to engineering and real-world problems. I cover classical physics topics as well as engineering-focused areas like materials science, fluid dynamics, statics, and dynamics in structures. I emphasise understanding concepts deeply rather than memorising formulas.
I use real-world examples from engineering projects to show how physics principles work in practice. Lessons are relaxed and interactive, allowing students to ask questions and explore ideas at their own pace. I integrate computational physics tools to help visualise problems and test solutions.
Assignments and exercises are designed to connect theory with practical applications. I focus on problem-solving strategies that are essential for exams and engineering designs. I help students see the relevance of physics in everyday engineering challenges.
My goal is to build confidence while strengthening analytical and technical skills. I adapt my teaching to each student’s learning style. I encourage curiosity and experimentation.
