About Alexander
I graduated with a First-Class Master's degree in Physics from the University of Liverpool in 2020. My thesis focused on measuring diffuse photons from Dwarf Spheroidal galaxies to help set constraints on Dark Matter interaction cross-sections. During my time in academia, I often noticed that many students spent a lot of time studying inefficiently—using methods that didn’t foster real understanding or lead to strong exam results. I believe that effective learning starts with finding the best way you, yourself, learn. Success follows by actively engaging with the material—solving problems, asking questions, and working through challenges. Rote memorisation might be helpful for a quiz on trivia, but it rarely leads to true comprehension. As a tutor, I focus on helping students develop a deep, confident grasp of the subject by tailoring sessions to their learning style and encouraging a hands-on, problem-solving approach. I teach Maths up to a Further Maths A level, and Physics all the way to a Masters level. I want to help students reach their academic goals in a clear manner. Happy to haggle on fees.

I graduated from the University of Liverpool with a first class Masters in Physics and am offering results focused tuition in the following areas: Physics: From GCSE to Masters level. Mathematics: From GCSE to A level Further Maths. C++ coding support. I particularly focus on Exam Preparation and technique, focusing on understanding the concepts and tailoring this understanding to how it needs to be applied in an exam setting. With that being said, I am also very happy to help with grasping concepts and tackling coursework. Sessions can be held online and in person (provided you are within Liverpool) Session times are flexible for when is best for you. First full lesson is free to see if it's for you. I hope I can be of assistance in helping you achieve the best results.
