About Isla
As a physics graduate with over three years of experience teaching Thermodynamics and Nuclear Physics to higher-level and university students, my passion for physics and education is the driving force behind my role as an instructor. From the outset of my academic journey, I was captivated by the intricacies of the physical world and sought to share this fascination with others through teaching.
Throughout my career, I have honed my skills as an educator, refining my teaching methods to create a supportive and stimulating learning environment. My approach is characterized by its clarity, enthusiasm, and adaptability. I understand that physics can be a challenging subject for many students, so I strive to present complex concepts in a clear and accessible manner, using real-world examples and practical demonstrations to illustrate abstract theories.
Moreover, I believe in the importance of fostering a collaborative and interactive learning experience. I encourage students to actively engage with the material, ask questions, and participate in discussions, creating opportunities for dialogue and peer learning. By fostering a sense of curiosity and inquiry, I aim to inspire a deeper understanding and appreciation of physics among my students.
Above all, my goal as an instructor is to empower my students to become confident and proficient physicists who are equipped to tackle complex challenges and contribute to scientific advancements. Whether assisting with assignments, providing guidance in exam preparation, or simply offering support and encouragement, I am dedicated to helping each student achieve their academic goals and succeed in their physics studies. It brings me great joy to witness the growth and progress of my students as they develop their skills and pursue their passion for physics.
