About Damien
My journey into physics began with curiosity about how the universe operates beneath the surface. This curiosity led me to earn an M.Sc in Theoretical Physics, where I explored complex systems and abstract reasoning. Over 10 years of teaching, I have helped students develop clarity and confidence by presenting challenging concepts in structured and supportive ways. I believe physics teaching should feel encouraging rather than intimidating. My approach emphasizes patience, adaptability, and conceptual clarity. I take time to ensure students understand the reasoning behind equations, fostering independence and long-term retention. Outside teaching, I stay connected to physics through scientific literature, simulations, and ongoing study. These activities enrich my lessons. Teaching physics is rewarding because I see students transform fear into curiosity and confidence.

I guide students through mechanics, energy systems, waves, electricity, magnetism, and introductory modern physics by connecting equations to physical intuition. Lessons emphasize understanding relationships between concepts rather than memorizing formulas, helping students see physics as a coherent and logical subject.
Instruction is tailored to each learner’s level. Beginners focus on core laws, diagrams, units, and foundational problem-solving steps. Intermediate learners develop stronger calculation accuracy, graph interpretation, experimental reasoning, and application-based thinking. Advanced learners refine derivations, multi-concept integration, and exam strategies. Guided practice and clear feedback are essential components of every lesson.
