About Derek
Teaching provides a necessary outlet for applying my background in scientific computing to real-world problems. My professional life spans a decade in quant research and machine learning engineering. I hold a PhD in Physics from MIT.
Over the past 3 years, I have helped students master electricity, magnetism, and complex numerical problem solving. My methodology is strictly technical and direct. I focus on the physics that actually matters for exams and technical career tracks.
