About Leah
My journey in physics began with a deep fascination for how invisible forces shape the visible world. This curiosity led me to pursue a Master’s Degree in Experimental Physics, where I explored advanced laboratory techniques, precise measurement systems, and analytical research methods. Over the past eleven years, I have combined academic knowledge with teaching, guiding students to discover meaning and understanding within what once felt complex or distant. My teaching approach is grounded in patience, clarity, and empathy. I understand that physics may appear intimidating, so I strive to break down complexity into approachable steps that build confidence. I customize my methods to each individual’s pace and learning style, ensuring that every student feels seen, supported, and capable. I strongly believe that with the right guidance, every learner can learn to appreciate and succeed in physics. Beyond the classroom, I stay connected to scientific advancements through continued study, participation in academic discussions, and reading research publications. Physics is a subject that opens the mind to the hidden principles governing everything in the universe, from the smallest particles to the movement of galaxies. In my lessons, I aim to make these principles accessible, engaging, and deeply meaningful. I create a calm, focused, yet inspiring learning space where students feel encouraged to question, explore, and reflect. Instead of memorizing formulas, learners are guided to understand the stories behind physical laws. I emphasize observation, logical reasoning, and connection between theoretical knowledge and the real world, helping physics feel alive and relevant.
For beginners, lessons begin with foundational topics such as motion, simple forces, energy, and basic measurements. Intermediate learners explore momentum, waves, electricity, magnetism, and heat transfer. Advanced students dive into modern physics, including optics, nuclear phenomena, relativity, and complex problem-solving techniques. Each level is carefully supported through step-by-step explanations, guided practice, visual representations, and practical examples. Mathematical skills are strengthened alongside conceptual understanding to ensure students can confidently analyze and solve real-world problems.
As confidence grows, students develop greater discipline, analytical strength, and intellectual resilience. Physics teaches them to observe more carefully and think more deeply. My ultimate goal is to nurture not only academic success, but also a sense of wonder and curiosity about the universe, enabling students to see the world through a sharper, more insightful scientific lens.
