About Miles

I hold a B.Sc in Physics and an M.Sc in Applied Physics, with 9 years of experience mentoring students at multiple academic levels. My teaching philosophy focuses on clarity, engagement, and fostering independent thought, helping learners develop conceptual understanding, analytical skills, and confidence in their abilities. I emphasize making connections between theory and real-world applications, cultivating curiosity, and encouraging critical reasoning over rote memorization.

I structure lessons with visual aids, interactive demonstrations, guided problem-solving, and discussions suited to diverse learning styles. I encourage exploration, multiple approaches, and reflective thinking to help students develop analytical reasoning and independent learning habits. My method balances structured teaching with discovery-driven exercises to ensure mastery and long-term comprehension.

Beyond teaching, I actively follow contemporary research, experimental studies, and scientific innovations to bring context and relevance to my lessons. Observing students evolve from uncertainty to mastery, acquiring confidence and skill, is deeply rewarding. My mission is to develop capable, curious, and confident physicists who can approach complex challenges with clarity, reasoning, and creativity.

Physics becomes captivating when students can relate abstract concepts to phenomena they observe every day. My lessons cover mechanics, electromagnetism, optics, waves, thermodynamics, and introductory quantum theory, blending theoretical understanding with problem-solving, visualization, and interactive demonstrations. I emphasize analytical thinking, conceptual clarity, and independent reasoning, creating an environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, explore ideas, and connect topics logically. Each lesson is designed to foster curiosity, confidence, and critical thinking, allowing learners to approach problems methodically and enjoy the beauty of physics.

Lesson content is customized for each student’s level. Beginners explore foundational topics such as forces, energy, motion, and simple experiments to build understanding and confidence. Intermediate learners tackle multi-step derivations, experimental interpretation, wave analysis, and problem-solving strategies, enhancing analytical capability. Advanced learners engage with complex phenomena, quantum concepts, relativity basics, and advanced problem-solving techniques, preparing for higher studies, research, or competitive examinations. Each session combines explanation, practical exercises, and discussion to ensure comprehension, retention, and skill development.

Physics lessons cultivate structured thinking, problem-solving skills, and analytical reasoning. Students gain confidence in connecting theory to real-life applications, interpreting experimental data, and approaching challenges systematically. My aim is to make physics exciting, accessible, and empowering, nurturing learners who are intellectually curious, capable, and confident in their ability to understand and explore the universe.
