About Marc
I am a professional physicist working in industry who also has a passion for helping students learn difficult subjects. I have strong academic roots, earning a PhD and then completing a lengthy post-doctoral appointment. During that time, I privately tutored students, worked as a teaching assistant, and mentored undergraduate and graduate students on research projects. I love keeping connections with students and academic culture even though I now work in industry.

I am a patient instructor who emphasizes teaching how to solve problems instead of just giving the answer. I have experience as a private tutor for high school and university-level physics, and additionally was a teaching assistant for 1.5 years for electricity and magnetism (Physics II). My specialties are classical mechanics, quantum mechanics, electricity and magnetism, but am open to just about any physics subject at any level! My preference is for in-person lessons and will offer a free trial session.
