About Saabir
I have over 5 years of tutoring experience at all levels. I have persevered to always find multiple ways to help students in their studies and improve their grades. I first started mentoring younger students when I was in sixth form and fell in love with tutoring. I most enjoy seeing the joy that tutees feel when they can overcome previously difficult problems! I have a proven track record and now that I have completed a Master's Degree in Physics and begun my PhD journey, I am ready to take on more students once more :)

My main focus is to ensure student motivation to learn independently, arming students with the correct tools to do so. I help students find the best learning methods for them and approach lessons in a structured or creative way depending on the student! I ensure lessons follow a particular structure that is tailored by both the student and myself over the first few lessons. In most cases I will not set homework, but rather methods for the student to take into school lessons and independent learning. Where homework is set, this will take the form of a fun problem where we focus on consolidating a new method rather than getting a correct answer. Lessons can last between 45 minutes and 2 hours depending on the student.
