About Johanna
I study physics at the University of Heidelberg and was in the Physics LK when I was in school. During my time as a high school student, I have always studied for math and physics exams with my classmates and helped them with the things they didn´t understand. Aside from having fun because I've always loved both subjects, the best moments were actually those when my close friends who always thought math and physics were "stupid" and "unnecessary" were smiling from ear to ear because they finally understood it and then said, completely astonished: "Oh, somehow this is actually fun!"
So I´m hoping by being a tutor I will experience many more similar moments!
(And don't worry if you still find it stupid in the end, you will understand it anyway and that´s the most important thing ;))

I design the work with the students very individually. Especially in a subject like physics, it is important to first find out exactly where the problem lies with the respective student. After the relevant gaps have been worked up, you can start with the new content. I use visual methods such as colorful learning notes or schematic or graphic representations, as well as the calculation of application examples and much more, in order to teach everyone the content in the way he or she can best understand and remember it. Here I am of course open to any new method with which I can best bring the subject closer to the student! In any case, it is always very important to me to show the students that any subject, no matter how "stupid" it seemed up to now, can be fun!
