About Neta
I'm a physics and geophysics major at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. I graduated as part of the Shorecrest High School class of 2026 with a 4.0 unweighted GPA. I took the SAT in 2025 and scored a 1540 with a 790 on the math and a 750 on the evidence-based reading and writing. I also took the AP Physics 1, AP Calculus AB, AP Chemistry, AP Computer Science A, AP World History, and AP US History exams and scored a 5 on all of them. In my junior and senior years of high school I was an NHS peer tutor and spent 2-3 hours a week helping other students prepare for their AP exams. In my free time I ski, rock climb, hike and mountaineer so I always have great real-world examples that connect to the subject.

I'm a physics major at the University of Utah. I scored a 1540 on the SAT and got 5s on the AP exams for Physics, Calculus, Chemistry, Computer Science A, World History, and APUSH. I also spent junior and senior year as an NHS peer tutor, helping other students prepare for their AP exams.
I recently took the SAT and many AP exams what I learned from that is that on the SAT and AP exams, students usually don't miss problems because they don't know the material. They miss them because the question is worded in a confusing way or because they don't know how to use the tools available to them. A physics problem buries the one useful number in a paragraph of setup. An SAT math question students spend precious minutes on when it can be solved in 20 seconds using desmos.
That's what I focus on. I teach you how to read a test-style problem, figure out what it's really asking, cut out the extra information, and use the tools you have available to reach the correct answer as fast as possible.
A typical session: We start with a problem you got wrong or that's coming up at school. Before solving anything, we break down the wording together: what's given, what's being asked, and what the question is really testing then we look at which tools you can use to help you solve the problem. Then you try a few similar problems on your own while I watch where you hesitate. I'll then explain the parts that didn't make sense and let you practice some more.
What sets me apart: I took these exact tests recently, so I remember what it feels like to be stuck on a confusing question under time pressure. I can show you the tricks and patterns that worked for me, not just the textbook method.
Who it's for: High school students in math, physics, chemistry, and computer science, especially anyone preparing for the SAT or AP exams. Whether you're catching up or pushing for a 5, message me with what you're working on and we'll make a plan.
