About Ada
I have spent seven passionate years helping more than 270 students discover physics through fluids, sound, and light. My background includes a master's in physics specializing in acoustics and optics and professional audio engineering experience. This dual background gives teaching a unique practical dimension. I have worked with students across levels and am effective with those interested in creative fields. My students have pursued careers in audio engineering, optics research, and music technology. I am known for dynamic demonstrations and enthusiasm for sensory aspects of physics. I maintain extensive demonstration equipment. Outside of teaching, I design audio systems and experiment with photography. I believe physics is about understanding the world through our senses.

My physics teaching is passionate and sensory emphasizing phenomena students can see hear and experience. For fluid dynamics I teach through demonstrations of flow patterns turbulence and Bernoullis principle. Acoustics is taught through sound waves musical instruments and hearing using oscilloscopes and hands-on experiments. Optics is explored through lens experiments laser demonstrations and color vision. I emphasize wave nature of light and sound and mathematical descriptions connecting them. My lessons are highly demonstrative with emphasis on observation prediction and explanation. I teach ray diagrams wavefront diagrams and mathematical models. For exam preparation I provide comprehensive coverage. I encourage exploring applications in music art and technology.
