About Blake
My interest in physics developed from curiosity about the fundamental forces shaping our universe. This curiosity led me to pursue a B.Sc in Physics, followed by an M.Sc in Applied Physics, where I gained deep theoretical knowledge and practical problem-solving expertise. Over the past 11 years, I have helped learners of all levels develop confidence and mastery in physics through structured, patient guidance. I teach with clarity, adaptability, and a supportive approach, breaking down complex ideas into manageable steps while providing real-life examples and visualisations. Many students who initially feel intimidated gradually develop independent problem-solving skills and confidence as they learn how to analyse physical systems logically. Outside teaching, I engage with physics through research, experimental exploration, and continuous learning. Teaching physics is immensely rewarding because I see students transform confusion into understanding, developing analytical thinking and resilience that serve them far beyond the classroom.

Physics becomes comprehensible when students learn to connect concepts with observable phenomena and logical reasoning. In my lessons, I guide learners through mechanics, forces, motion, energy, waves, electricity, and introductory modern physics, providing step-by-step explanations that build confidence and clarity. I focus on conceptual understanding alongside mathematical reasoning to ensure students can approach problems analytically and methodically. Lessons are personalised to each learner’s level. Beginners explore fundamental laws, simple calculations, and core conceptual thinking. Intermediate learners work on multi-step problem-solving, analysis of physical systems, and experimental interpretation. Advanced learners focus on derivations, complex calculations, critical reasoning, and exam preparation strategies. Every lesson includes guided practice, interactive discussion, and targeted feedback to reinforce understanding. Physics lessons also cultivate analytical thinking, patience, and persistence. As learners gain clarity, they approach complex problems with confidence and systematic reasoning. My goal is to help students see physics as a fascinating, logical, and approachable subject that develops problem-solving and analytical skills for both academics and everyday life.
