About Alejandro
I graduated with a B.S. in Physics from SDSU and have tutored in San Diego for 5 years. I also served as a TA for SDSU’s physics labs, helping students with experiments and lab reports. I’m available weekday evenings and Saturday afternoons, and I hold a California STEM Teaching Credential. In my spare time, I volunteer for local science festivals, setting up hands-on exhibits.

I teach physics using real-world visuals and hands-on approaches—demonstrating projectile motion with smartphone video analysis, explaining electromagnetism through simple, safe experiments, and using interactive simulations to deepen understanding. We thoroughly cover mechanics, thermodynamics, waves, and foundational concepts in nuclear and astrophysics. I assign practice problems modeled on AP, IB, and introductory college exams, followed by detailed, step-by-step reviews to ensure mastery and build problem-solving confidence.
