About Daisy
I am a Physics tutor with over 4 years of experience and an MSc in Nuclear Physics. My teaching integrates geophysics and earth sciences to help students understand plate tectonics, seismic waves, and climate physics. I aim to connect fundamental physics with the dynamic processes of our planet.
My approach includes teaching the Earth's structure, atmospheric dynamics, and geological processes through data analysis, simulations, and modelling. I make complex phenomena tangible by breaking them down into clear, interactive examples. Students explore how physics explains earthquakes, volcanic activity, and climate patterns, developing both understanding and curiosity.
I work closely with environmental science students and those interested in planetary science, guiding them to apply physics concepts to real-world systems. Each session encourages analytical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific reasoning. I focus on building a strong foundation while fostering independent learning and confidence.

My teaching approach in Physics focuses on making complex ideas clear, practical, and engaging.
