About Kelsey
In my lessons, physics becomes something you can see, feel, and experience, not just read from a textbook. I use dynamic demonstrations to make Newtonian mechanics, forces and motion, and energy conservation come alive. Every concept is linked to real-life situations, so you can instantly see why it matters. Instead of memorizing formulas, we’ll focus on truly visualizing the physics behind them. I guide students to think like problem-solvers, breaking down challenges into clear, logical steps. We’ll use sketches, diagrams, and mental models to build a strong, intuitive grasp of each principle. This approach helps you understand not just the “how” but the “why” behind physical laws. I encourage active participation, where you explain your reasoning and explore different ways to reach a solution. You’ll learn how to approach any problem with confidence, even if it seems complicated at first. Each lesson builds on the last, steadily growing your skills and insight. My goal is to make sure you’re not only ready for tests and assignments, but also able to apply physics to everyday life and engineering challenges. By the end, you’ll see the world through a clearer, more scientific lens.

I’m a Physics tutor with over 10 years of teaching experience and an MSc in Quantum Physics, driven by a deep fascination for the physics behind climate systems. My passion lies in understanding and explaining the intricate science of climate modeling and atmospheric dynamics. Over the years, I have explored key processes such as radiative transfer, atmospheric convection, ocean currents, and the complex feedback loops that regulate our planet’s climate.
I believe that climate physics is one of the most important applications of science in today’s world. It is where theory meets urgent real-world challenges. In my lessons, I break down these complex topics into clear, approachable concepts, ensuring students build both confidence and curiosity. We often dive into the physical equations that govern energy balance, fluid motion, and heat transport, linking them directly to real climate phenomena.
I guide my students in connecting fundamental physics to climate models, helping them see how small-scale processes shape large-scale global trends. Together, we explore how physics allows us to predict future climate patterns and understand past climate shifts.
