About Fern
Hello, my name is Fern and I am currently a university student studying physiology at the University of Aberdeen.
I have always loved teaching other people and passing on my knowledge to others, and I have been doing this in many different forms up until this point - from helping people with their homework to having the amazing opportunity to go to Nepal to teach children science.
I will always work with you to try and find the best learning environment, and I promise that if you put the effort into learning and engaging with me, that I will do everything in my power to help you succeed.

I try to incorporate a mixture of visual, auditory and kinaesthetic learning into my lessons, but will learn from the pupil in order to try and understand how they learn best.
The typical length of my lesson is 1 hour, but I can extend this if necessary.
I have a level 3 qualification in Psychology, as well as a GCSE at a grade 8 in the subject. I have a BTEC level 3 Extended Diploma in Applied Science, which is equivalent to A level, and I am currently a BSc Physiology student at the University of Aberdeen. In March 2023, I went to Nepal to teach 10-12 year olds science for two weeks, which enhanced my skills in facilitating learning further.
My lessons are for levels 2 (GCSE) and 3 (A level/BTEC), and my main age ranges are 13-17 years old.
