About John
A former 'mad scientist' (biotechnology), I have now retired and enjoy doing what I love - music!
Over the years, I have taught/coached instrumentalists and singers of all abilities, accompanied and directed choirs, played in concert halls, and played 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star' with toddlers. I find all of these to be deeply rewarding experiences, and look forward to meeting new students of music.
Often, students are more comfortable in their own homes, and lessons can be more productive when I can tailor exercises and choice of music to the instruments available.

With my deep love of music and my patient and calm nature, I aim to provide a comfortable and relaxed learning experience for my students. Lessons are available at 30 min, 45 min, and 1 hour for adults and children over the age of six years.
