About Irma
My teaching method consists of patience and persistence. I will give my students confidence and enjoyment in their playing and develop their own individual musicianship. I have been giving private piano and music theory lessons since 2006, I enjoy working with children and adults, I am preparing my students for ABRSM grades (1-8), music theory, Trinity exam and music GCSE. Also I teach not only classical music, but also jazz music, contemporary music, neoclassical music and others. I can teach all ages, from 5 years old to adults with levels from beginner to advanced or professional. I have a Bachelor Degree in teaching from the Georgian Conservatory.

Methodology I am a professional, experienced, enthusiastic and friendly teacher. I like to keep students motivated and enjoy new music skills. As they learn new music skills and concepts, let’s the students put them into practice with instruments. I teach all genres and encourage students to choose their own pieces and have short and long term goals when learning to play, whether it’s play by ear, be able to play and read music confidently at home. My expertise and passion lies in teaching Piano and my one-to-one, calm and creative approach to sessions ensure that students are challenged to reach their potential. Playing music supports your learning in other areas and develops concentration skills too.
