About Lachlan
I’ve played piano for 24+ years, and have completed all of my piano examinations to grade 8. I have a year's experience in a professional pop band. I also play ukulele, and played saxophone during high school. I love jazz, blues, and "cocktail" piano, improvising and playing by ear, discovering fantastic chords, composition and arrangement, and making electronic music. I love encouraging students to find their sound and explore it with confidence.

I have been trained as a tutor by Kayler Woithe, who has been a full time tutor for many years, and currently has over 60 students. I teach lessons through Kayler's private studio, Tune In Music Studio.
At Tune In Music Studio lessons are tailored to each individual's style of learning, aiming to encourage enthusiasm in students of all ages and levels, whether new or following a life-long passion. Our approach fosters confidence and leads to a deep and lasting passion for music. We offer guidance in all areas from beginnings, technical skills, music theory, self teaching tools, exam preparation and song writing. We currently work with students ranging 5 and up and are yet to have a student of any age not find joy and growth through working together. All of our beginning students have learnt to sight read within the month.
