About Jules
With more than 8 years of experience teaching piano, I specialize in guiding college students to achieve technical proficiency while developing creativity and self-expression. My lessons are personalized and tailored to each student’s learning style and goals. I integrate traditional techniques with innovative approaches, such as improvisation exercises, composition projects, sight-reading activities, and modern music adaptations, to make learning interactive and fun.
I emphasize building technical skill, theory knowledge, rhythm, and performance readiness, while fostering confidence, artistic interpretation, and musical expression. I aim to create a positive, engaging, and inspiring learning environment where students feel motivated to explore, perform, and develop as musicians. My ultimate goal is to help students master the piano, express themselves fully, and cultivate a lifelong passion for music.

My piano teaching approach combines creativity, mentorship, and responsibility. I focus on helping students develop musical skills, confidence, and independence.
Creativity is encouraged through exploring different music styles, improvisation, and learning songs that students enjoy. This keeps lessons engaging and fun.
As a mentor and critical thinker, I guide students to understand rhythm, scales, chords, technique, and musical expression. Students are encouraged to analyze their playing and solve challenges on their own.
Accountability is built through clear learning goals, regular practice routines, and consistent feedback. This helps students stay focused, disciplined, and motivated.
Along with piano, I teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm training, keyboard skills, and basic composition to support well-rounded musical growth.
