About Iven
I am a piano tutor with 7 years of experience and a B.Mus in Piano Performance along with an M.Mus in Music Education. I specialize in developing technical mastery, expressive interpretation, and ensemble performance. I guide beginners through foundational technique and repertoire, intermediate learners through expressive phrasing and musical development, and advanced learners through complex repertoire, improvisation, and ensemble work. Lessons integrate exercises, repertoire practice, creative exploration, and performance coaching. My teaching approach is student-focused, adaptive, and encouraging. Beginners build foundational skills, intermediate learners refine phrasing and interpretation, and advanced learners develop stylistic nuance, ensemble collaboration, and performance confidence. Feedback is continuous, constructive, and personalized. Lessons balance technical skill, musicality, and expressive growth.
