About Daisy
I am a piano tutor with 9 years of experience, holding an M.Mus in Piano Pedagogy and Performance Studies. My journey began with a deep love for how piano can communicate emotion, structure, and beauty all at once. Over the years, I have guided learners of different ages and goals, helping them build confidence from their first notes to more advanced repertoire. I believe piano learning should feel inspiring, structured, and personally meaningful.
I specialize in developing musical independence through strong reading skills, expressive technique, and confidence-building practice strategies. Lessons are designed to match each learner’s pace, with clear feedback that encourages improvement without pressure. I enjoy helping students discover not only how to play accurately, but how to play with personality and feeling. Mistakes are treated as part of growth, and progress is celebrated warmly.
Outside tutoring, I remain connected to piano through arranging, pedagogy research, and exploring diverse musical styles.
