About Joana
I started playing the piano when I was 8 yo, having completed the eighth grade through the ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music), under the guidance of Saraswati Griffith.
At the age of 23 I started cello lessons, having also completed the eighth grade through ABRSM.
I have been a member of the Coral Sinfónico de Portugal since 2002 and I was part of the Orquestra Académica da Universidade de Lisboa between 2014 and 2017.
On the way I graduated in Cognitive Behavioural Psychology and did a master's degree in Veterinary Medicine, having the Advanced Certificate in Feline Behaviour by iCatCare.
A lover of nature and especially of trees, I live on a farm in the middle of the forest where the soundtrack is composed by the sound of the river and the singing of birds.
