About Joe
My qualifications include Grade 7 AMEB Practical Piano and Grade 5 Music Theory. I also have 5 years experience with teaching both individual and group music and piano lessons to people of all ages from young children to adults. I also have experience with teaching on behalf of music schools as well as private piano tuition. In addition, I completed an Arts Degree at the University of Queensland with a double major in Music. I have knowledge and experience with music techniques, music technology, music history, music in society and popular music.

I offer flexibility in my teaching method in order to best suit the individual needs of my students. I have experience and am familiar with teaching in a systematic and structured manner. However I'm also able to teach in a creative, fun, exciting and interactive manner in order to maximise engagement and learning, while still maintaining interest. Alternatively, I'm able to offer a mixture or a happy medium between these two vastly different teaching methods. I'm also able to accommodate to visual, aural and practical learners.

Discount rates on lesson packs offered only to students who pay in cash upfront. 24 hours notice required for any lesson cancellations or lesson reschedules. If at least 24 hours notice is not given for lesson cancellations or lesson reschedules, the student will forfeit the cost of the scheduled lesson. Travel costs are $1/kilometer traveled.
