About Vladimir

I began my teaching career at the age of 14 as a music teacher in a kindergarten. I performed at the kindergarten during a concert with music college students, and the children really enjoyed the songs I performed. The director of the kindergarten invited me to be their teacher.

Three years later, we performed the children's fairy tale opera "Teremok" on TV, and the director of the opera house invited me to rehearse the parts with opera singers. He said, "If you can teach two-year-olds, you can teach adults too."

After graduating from the Moscow Conservatory, I entered postgraduate school at the St. Petersburg Conservatory and served as an assistant to Professor V.V. Nielsen.

I won an award at an all-Union competition and spent many years as a touring pianist. I then worked as a teacher at a top university in South Africa and as a choral master at the Opera House.

I hired anyone who wanted to sing and prepared them for opera performances in two to three months. I now live in Toronto, Canada, and have trained several dozen fine musicians here.

I guarantee successful music education to anyone who guarantees me a conscientious and serious attitude towards their studies.

I graduated with distinction from Moscow and St. Petersburg (postgraduate) conservatories. I developed a new very effective method FIORNI that gives immediate results during the very first 60 minutes lesson. All my students usually receive reports from their examiners with the words “Exceptional Musicality”. I have a huge and successful experience in teaching students from 2 to 102 years old.

I do not believe in special talents and gifts but I can guarantee your success in Music if you have a good attitude towards our lessons.

The novelty of my teaching method lies in providing the student with 100% of the information necessary for good performance, rather than the standard 70%. (The student must somehow figure out the remaining 30% themselves, and this usually fails, leading to despair). Music, like any other human sound language, is made up of specific sounds of a specific intensity, organized in a specific way over time. Conventional methods teach students which key to press and at what moment. However, no one today teaches which key to press harder or softer. Therefore, the intensity of adjacent notes in a piece is completely uncontrolled and is performed either chaotically in most cases, or intuitively, which is better, but very unreliable. Knowing the precise relationships between adjacent notes is as essential as knowing the correct stress patterns in words in any language. I teach these correct stress patterns, and they make a great impression on examiners and competition judges. They usually write about my students' "exceptional musicality."
