About Phoebe
My interest in piano began when I first explored melodies on a keyboard during my early music education. I quickly became fascinated by how different notes and chords combine to create expressive musical pieces. This curiosity encouraged me to continue studying piano and eventually complete a Master’s Degree in Piano Education.
Over the past 10 years, I have taught students with different levels of experience. Some learners are beginners exploring music for the first time, while others want to improve their performance technique. My teaching style focuses on patience, clear explanation, and steady progress.
Outside teaching, I enjoy practicing piano and exploring various musical compositions. Studying different styles of music helps me better understand interpretation and performance. Helping students discover their musical ability and build confidence at the piano remains one of the most fulfilling parts of my teaching career.

My piano lessons focus on helping students understand the keyboard while developing strong musical foundations. Beginners start by learning the layout of the piano keys, proper hand position, and simple rhythm patterns. I guide students through basic note reading and easy melodies that help coordinate both hands. These early lessons help learners become comfortable with the instrument and understand how music is structured.
As students progress, lessons include scales, chords, and longer musical pieces. I explain how rhythm, tempo, and dynamics influence musical expression. Students practice reading sheet music carefully while improving finger movement and hand coordination. These exercises help learners build stronger playing technique and musical awareness.
Learning piano requires patience and regular practice. I encourage students to practice small sections of music carefully and focus on gradual improvement. Over time, learners develop stronger finger control and greater confidence when performing pieces. My goal is to help students enjoy the learning process while steadily improving their piano skills.
