About Alexandria
I adore teaching and sharing my passion for Music with my pupils . I take a positive, praise-focused approach to teaching with an aim to foster a love for Piano in my students. My ultimate goal is to have happy pupils who are motivated to practice Piano at home.

I am a graduate from the University of Manchester with 3 years of experience teaching Primary-school aged children the beginning stages of Piano (complete beginner to Grade 3). I work with Parents and Children collaboratively to tailor a Piano course that is right for their aims and expectations, so while I encourage progressing through the ABRSM examination system as a structure for learning, I am open to other paths where it suits my pupils.
I am well-suited to teaching children with learning-difficulties being dyslexic myself, as I have an understanding of where they may struggle and am able to share my own methods and strategies that I developed as a student.
Musical Qualifications:
I have achieved Grade 8 in Piano, and Grade 5 in Music Theory with the ABRSM exam board. I also have an A-Level in Music.
Teaching Experience:
Before moving to Manchester I taught 8 students, with skills ranging from beginner level through to Grade 3. My pupils were aged between 6-11. I taught for 3 years, helping my pupils through the examination process.
