About Vela
I hold a Master’s degree in Piano Performance and have 10 years of experience teaching piano to students of all levels. My interest in piano began at a young age and grew into a strong passion for both performing and teaching. I believe that learning piano should be a positive and enjoyable experience, and I focus on helping students build confidence along with strong technical skills. My teaching style is patient, clear, and supportive.
I customize my lessons to suit each student’s needs and pace of learning. Beginners are guided step by step to build a strong foundation, while intermediate learners are supported in improving technique and musical expression. Advanced students focus on performance skills and deeper interpretation. I create a positive environment where students feel motivated and confident to practice regularly and improve.
Outside of teaching, I continue to practice regularly and explore different music styles to improve my own skills. This allows me to bring new ideas into my lessons and keep them interesting. Helping students grow in confidence and enjoy playing piano is one of the most fulfilling parts of my work as a teacher.

My piano lessons are designed to help students develop strong technical skills while also understanding music in a clear and structured way. I focus on finger independence, hand coordination, note reading, rhythm accuracy, scales, and chord progressions so that students can play smoothly and confidently. Lessons include exercises, simple pieces, and gradually more advanced compositions that help students improve step by step. I create a calm and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable practicing and building confidence over time.
Lessons are planned based on the student’s level and learning goals. Beginners focus on note recognition, hand position, and simple songs to build confidence and coordination. Intermediate learners work on improving technique, dynamics, and expressive playing while expanding their repertoire. Advanced students focus on complex pieces, interpretation, and performance preparation. Each lesson includes structured practice, guided exercises, and detailed feedback to ensure steady and meaningful progress.
The goal of my piano lessons is to help students become confident and independent players who enjoy making music. They learn to understand musical structure, improve their technique, and express themselves clearly through playing. Lessons are designed to balance discipline and creativity, helping students build strong skills while enjoying the learning process.
