About Vida
I hold a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and a Master of Music in Music Pedagogy, with 6 years of experience teaching students of all ages and skill levels. My teaching combines technical precision, musical interpretation, and creativity to ensure learners build both skill and confidence. Lessons include structured exercises, repertoire practice, improvisation, sight reading, and performance guidance to support comprehensive musical growth.
I emphasize individualized instruction, patience, and encouragement. Beginners receive foundational guidance, intermediate learners refine technical skill and interpretation, and advanced students develop artistry, improvisation, and performance readiness. My approach fosters a supportive and inspiring environment where students feel motivated to explore, practice, and perform.
Beyond teaching, I stay engaged in piano performance, pedagogy studies, and collaborative projects to bring contemporary insights and practical experience into lessons. Watching students gain confidence, technique, and musical expression remains the most fulfilling part of my work. Piano lessons become most rewarding when they combine technical skill, expressive performance, and creative exploration. My lessons cover finger independence, sight reading, scales, chords, rhythm, dynamics, interpretation, repertoire development, and performance practice. I integrate structured exercises, guided improvisation, duets, and ensemble experiences to ensure students develop a balanced skill set that supports both technical growth and expressive artistry.
Beginners focus on hand positioning, finger exercises, basic scales, simple sight reading, and easy repertoire. Intermediate learners develop chord progressions, rhythmic accuracy, interpretive skills, and more complex repertoire. Advanced students work on advanced technique, expressive phrasing, improvisation, performance preparation, and ensemble coordination. Each lesson is personalized to ensure continuous progress, constructive feedback, and meaningful practice opportunities.
Learning piano enhances musicality, creativity, discipline, and self-confidence. Students develop technical proficiency while exploring expressive possibilities, gradually gaining performance readiness and confidence. My goal is to guide learners toward becoming accomplished, expressive, and independent pianists who enjoy their musical journey while building lasting skills and a love for piano performance.
