About Jensen
With 7 years of experience in teaching and professional music work, I am a dedicated Piano tutor who truly enjoys teaching. I teach piano to school and college students and focus on making learning simple and enjoyable.
A major milestone in my career was developing lesson plans that helped students stay motivated and practise regularly. This approach improved both learning speed and confidence.
My lessons include finger exercises, rhythm practice, sight-reading, and musical expression. I also teach basic music theory to strengthen understanding and independence.
I believe piano education builds patience, concentration, and creativity. Many students have improved their confidence and discipline through regular music practice.
My teaching style is friendly, structured, and supportive. I guide students step by step and encourage steady progress at every level.

My piano teaching approach is comprehensive, mentorship-oriented, and student-focused, designed to nurture both technical skills and creative expression. I emphasise communication, ensuring students clearly understand musical concepts, technique, rhythm, and theory, and can apply them effectively in practice and performance. Lessons are tailored to each student’s learning style to create an engaging, interactive, and effective learning experience.
I use real-life examples and case studies, such as performing favourite songs, analysing classical compositions, and demonstrating music’s applications in films and daily life. In addition to piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, ear training, improvisation, composition, and performance preparation, providing students with a complete musical foundation. My methodology fosters technical mastery, creative expression, performance confidence, and a lifelong passion for music, helping students grow into confident, expressive, and skilled pianists.
