I am a passionate primary educator, whose inquiry-based teaching practice provides opportunities for learners to feel empowered to explore, question and construct meaning for themselves, while fostering a love of life-long learning. My approach to piano tutoring is rooted in creating a fun and engaging learning experience that builds both technical skills and musical expression. I use a mix of classical and contemporary methods to help students develop a well-rounded understanding of music. I focus on fostering a love for the instrument through personalised lessons that match each student’s learning style and goals.
Lessons are typically 30 to 45 minutes, providing enough time for focused practice while keeping the energy positive and engaging. I incorporate sight-reading, ear training, and technique, while also allowing students to explore music they enjoy.
With years of experience teaching students of all ages, I bring patience, encouragement, and a passion for music to every lesson. My lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate players, and advanced students of any age, from children to adults.
