I am a piano teacher with 9 years of experience and hold a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Piano. My teaching philosophy centers on active musical involvement, helping students connect deeply with the music they play. I focus on developing artistic intent alongside technical skill, ensuring each learner grows as a complete musician.
Lessons are personalized to match each student’s goals, abilities, and learning style. I integrate music theory, history, technique, and creativity to create a well-rounded and engaging learning experience. Beginners build solid foundations in rhythm, scales, and sight-reading, while advanced students refine interpretation, improvisation, and performance skills.
I emphasize ear training, expressive playing, and musical storytelling to help students communicate through music.
