About Harper
I am a piano teacher with over 6 years of experience teaching both in-person and online. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance with a focus on Pedagogy. My teaching philosophy emphasizes sight-reading fluency, score analysis, and interpreting complex classical repertoire.
I adapt lessons to each student’s individual needs, incorporating music history, theory, finger exercises, and period performance practices. I teach piano with a focus on connecting music theory to practical playing. Lessons cover fundamentals, chord progressions, inversions, and harmonic analysis. My approach shows students how theory works directly on the keyboard.
