About Brianna
I am due to graduate from Stirling University in June 2021 with an expected 1st class BA(Hons) degree in International Politics. In September 2021 I am due to begin a MSc in Human Rights and International Politics at Glasgow University.
I am a dyslexic student and have had to adapt the way I approached academics as a result. I hope to support other students and introduce strategies by which to make language, exams and academia more accessible.
Outside university I have experience in research, academic political news coverage and I have been awarded for my public speaking skills.
I have extensive experience with children, volunteering both at a local youth group for 4 years and in a classroom for students with additional support needs prior to university. Additionally, in my spare time I volunteer at a local refugee charity where I co-designed and delivered a course on the UK driving theory test with the assistance of a translator. Therefore, I am confident teaching a wide range of abilities, backgrounds and ages.
