About Celia
I am a graduate from the University of Edinburgh with a first-class degree in Politics. I also studied History frequently at a university level, and have top grades in English Literature and History at A Level. This is my first time tutoring professionally, but in the past have casually tutored my younger brother and friends through their exams and school work.

I'm aiming my lessons at students from year 7 to 13 who need extra help with History and Politics. Initially I will provide students with methods of approaching their subjects in a way which works best for them, as the way a subject is taught in school isn't always the best way for every individual. My strength is essay writing and structuring, which can often be where a student loses marks despite having a solid knowledge of content.
We can then work towards a deeper understanding of the subject, as once a student can fully comprehend a topic, memorisation for exams is much simpler. I can write tests using the syllabus provided by an exam board and by looking at past papers, which is the final step in ensuring that you feel ready and able to take your exams.
